Beliefs: Share w/Kids or Not?

I see numerous comments to people not wanting their children exposed to this or that because it is not in their beliefs. As an example: They don't believe in Santa, so they don't want their children exposed to it.

This is a quote that I have always held to my heart. We are exposed numerous times a day to differing opinions, it's how we react to them that matters.

"The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently."
- Nietzsche

I WANT my child exposed to as much information as she can get her hands on. As long as you make sure that your child has a strong foundation on your families personal beliefs at home, let them go out and explore their world and help answer their questions later. I want my child to understand and respect others beliefs. Knowledge and tolerance go hand in hand in my opinion.
